Members of ‘Tyagra’ Intefad (Vocals), Asif (Guitars), Zawad (Drums) and Aniruddha (Bass) (R to L)

Bangladesh had a metal scene initiated with heavy metal masters as Waves, RockStrata and Warfaze. Later in the 90’s we had bands like Ghost Brigade, Phantom Lord, Cryptic Fate and so on. But since the mid 2000’s, there were no notable heavy metal bands in the underground, nor did the newer bands showed interest in playing heavy metal. Here in 2015, we have seen the release of a heavy metal demo CD, from a band called Tyagra. Formed back in 2014, the band plays the primitive form of NWOBHM. Their 4 track demo, recorded during their rehearsal, was released on 2nd June, 2015. The CD contains three tracks composed by the band itself and a cover of the track Sign of the Wolf from famous American doom metal band Pentagram. The demo is limited to a few copies therefore, it can be collected from the band directly.

Tyagra are:

Intefad -Vocals

Asif – Guitars

Zawad – Drums

Aniruddha – Bass
