On May-29, 2015, the “Four Horsemen” has performed one of their famous ballad numbers “Unforgiven II” for the second time in the history at the Rock Im Revier festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The band has just released an official audio recording of the performance, and it can be streamed using the SoundCloud
The band has first performed the song at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on December-‘97. The song was released in the same year on their seventh studio album “Reload”, and it’s a sequel to the song “The Unforgiven” which was released in their 1991’s famous self-titled album (also known as The Black Album). The second sequel “The Unforgiven III” was released in the band’s 2008’s album “Death Magnetic”. All of them happens to be on the music hit list.
Despite insisting that work has been proceeding on a new album, Metallica has spent a lot of time outside the studio in the last year, with activities that included a string of European all-request shows last summer, a week-long residency on “The Late Show With Craig Ferguson”, and on May-2015 on “Rock In Rio USA” stint.
