Actress, filmmaker, dancer and singer – Meher Afroz Shaon has released two songs of Rabindranath Tagore yesterday (October-12) on her birthday. The songs are Majhe Majhe Tobo Dekha Pai and Choron Dhorite Diyogo Amare, and they can heard at this link on Bandcamp.

Ms. Shaon has expressed her reaction through a long message on her personal Facebook account.

“6 years ago Humayun Ahmed has decided to record some of his favorite songs which I always sang to him. The release went on to a hold as he became diagnosed with cancer.So, after so many years later I have decided to release two Tagore numbers on my birthday as a token of gratitude to all my fans and friends.”
