Tragic day for the metal scene of Bangladesh as the country has lost an upcoming star. Pratik Barua – ex-drummer of the Chittagong based death metal band Demonic Assault, has passed away yesterday at 7:50 pm, at Chattagram Metropalitan Hashpatal Ltd. He was 24 years old. According to sources, he was admitted at the hospital at 6:25 pm. The cause of death was heart attack.

Pratik has also played with bands like Ivsl and Karmant.
